CHAMBER MUSIC MONTEREY BAY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS

We are deeply committed to supporting a lifelong understanding and enjoyment of classical music by people of all ages and backgrounds.
Through our education and outreach programs, and with the support of our donors and grantors, we are able to share this music with the broader community beyond the concert hall. In our Visiting Artist Outreach program, the professional ensembles who perform in our concert series visit local schools, giving interactive concerts, clinics, and master classes. We have served thousands of children from diverse backgrounds, many of whom would not ordinarily have an opportunity to hear and meet world-class professional musicians. This thrilling experience can have a life-long impact.

To nurture the next generation of chamber music lovers, children in grades 3-12 are invited to sit in the center front three rows at each of our concerts for an up-close and personal concert experience. The Kids Up Front & Free! program makes it possible for students from all economic backgrounds to attend a professional chamber music performance and discover the joys of classical music. It also provides families with affordable opportunities to attend classical music concerts together.
